My Background and Area of Practice:
I grew up in Long Island, New York attending undergraduate and graduate school here. Professionally, I have had diverse experiences that allow me to help people cope as they negotiate changes in their life. My areas of special interest include children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with different issues. I employ many techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy for individuals with Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Behaviors, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Depression and Eating Disorders.

Over the past several years, I have worked with individuals and their families, schools, libraries and corporations. We worked together utilizing mindfulness and stress reducing techniques to help address concerns around peer relationships, self-esteem, body image issues, anxiety, and the enhancement of individual and family relationships. I believe it is vital to create a safe space for individuals to help them make safer decisions, while assisting them to have more gratifying experiences and maintain a strong connection to their true self.

Kimberly Nofi employs the following techniques
